Here are a few things to consider before signing up with an annuity marketing organization

  1. In order to do business with the annuity marketing organization they will want you to sign over certain contracts to them. Find out if they will let you out of this contract if things don’t go as planned. Some will, some won’t. Find out up front.

2. Look for marketers that you get along with because you are going to have to deal with them a lot. Do your personalities mesh well?

3. Look for FMO’s that will share their override commission with you in the form of bonuses and lead credits. Some of the annuity marketing organizations will even pay for your leads!

4. Do they want to help you? Some of the marketers only want to deal with agents already doing a certain amount of production. 

5. Can they teach you? If you are new to the industry you should consider someone that will take you under their wing and help train you. What one person needs might be different from another.
