About Us

Experience Behind Every Lead

TheAnnuityLeads.com was founded in 2010 with a straightforward goal: help financial professionals spend less time searching for prospects and more time speaking with people who have taken meaningful steps toward an annuity conversation.

Our approach comes from experience on both sides of that conversation. Before starting the company, our founder worked at Edward Jones, inside bank investment programs, and for nearly five years at Fidelity Investments. He earned an MBA while working at Fidelity, completed the coursework required to sit for the CFP® exam, and passed the exam before leaving the company.

That career provided firsthand experience with one of the most ongoing problems in financial services: even knowledgeable, hardworking advisors struggle when they cannot consistently get in front of the right people.

Solving that problem became the foundation of our business.

From Advisor Training to Lead Generation

The company’s roots reach back to RolloverCoach.com, a national training platform founded in 2007 to help financial advisors and insurance agents grow their 401(k) rollover business.

Thousands of financial professionals went through the training, and approximately 7,000 advisors joined the company’s email list. When we surveyed that audience about the kind of help they needed most, the answer was overwhelmingly clear: they wanted more opportunities to speak with prospective clients.

That feedback led us into lead generation in 2010.

Our first programs focused on 401(k) rollover leads. We tested co-registration campaigns with major career websites, online advertising, and outbound calling. Those early programs taught us an important lesson: the company generating the lead needs control over the consumer experience. The message, questions, screening, and decision to respond all influence what happens when an advisor makes contact.

In 2011, we began testing annuity leads. The difference was substantial. The consumers were generally older, had more investable assets, and were addressing financial decisions that were more immediate to their stage of life. Our clients strongly preferred the annuity opportunities, and the future direction of the company became clear.

Built Through Testing, Not Theory

Since then, we have tested annuity campaigns across national and local radio, broadcast and cable television, email, package inserts, call-center programs, and digital advertising.

Our founder has personally directed more than eight figures in annuity advertising. That experience has included campaigns on major national news, business, sports, and entertainment networks, along with extensive digital campaigns.

Every channel taught us something.

Radio and television prospects could be easier to reach by phone, but they were sometimes less prepared for a substantive conversation. Digital prospects could take more effort to contact, but often showed stronger intent once reached. Educational offers could attract interest, but they also allowed people to postpone the conversation until they had reviewed a book, CD, report, or video.

Over time, we moved toward a more focused, proposal-based experience designed to begin the financial conversation sooner. We strengthened our screening standards, asked more detailed questions, and concentrated our advertising on the sources producing the best opportunities for our clients.

We do not continue using a campaign simply because it is familiar or produces inexpensive names. We follow what works.

Why Our Process Is Different

We believe a lead should represent more than a name and telephone number.

The message a consumer sees determines who responds. The experience that follows determines how seriously that person considers the next step. The questions asked determine how much an advisor knows before making contact.

That is why our process is intentionally selective. Depending on the campaign, prospective clients may answer 12 to 20 questions about their situation, interests, and objectives. They engage with substantive content written for people with investing experience and meaningful assets. The process requires time and thought because those actions can help distinguish casual curiosity from genuine interest.

We also believe the consumer’s first impression matters. Exaggerated promises and dramatic claims may attract attention, but they do not create the foundation for a trusted financial conversation. Our goal is to present annuity information professionally, set an appropriate tone, and give the advisor a stronger starting point.

No lead program can replace sales ability, consistent follow-up, or good service. A lead is an opportunity—not a guaranteed appointment or sale. We work best with established professionals who understand that distinction and know how to turn a qualified opportunity into a relationship.

Quality Over Quantity

We are not trying to enroll hundreds of new clients simply to become the largest lead company. Our priority is to work with a select group of capable agents, advisors, and organizations that value quality and want a lasting partnership.

That philosophy affects how we advertise, how we screen, how we support clients, and how we decide whom to work with. We would rather build a smaller number of productive, long-term relationships than sell the greatest possible number of leads.

Our interests are aligned with our clients’ interests. When they succeed, they continue working with us. That gives us a strong reason to keep improving the quality of the opportunities we provide.

A Small, Experienced Team

TheAnnuityLeads.com is a hands-on business.

New and existing clients generally speak directly with the founder or his brother, Bryan, who has worked with the company since approximately 2013. Bryan manages key client relationships and oversees billing, customer service, and technology. Our founder directs media buying, works with FMO partners, and helps clients with questions about sales and working their leads.

Our lead-screening team includes three experienced team members. Two have been with us for more than a decade. That continuity supports the careful, consistent process on which our clients depend.

We operate with an independent culture built on trust. Everyone is expected to minimize errors, take care of customers, and do the right thing—even when no one is watching.

What We Stand For

TheAnnuityLeads.com has operated through dramatic changes in media, technology, buyer behavior, and the annuity industry. The company has lasted because we continue learning and because our central values have not changed.

We believe in:

  • Quality over volume.
  • Honest marketing over hype.
  • Thoughtful screening over low barriers.
  • Long-term relationships over quick transactions.
  • Continuous improvement over doing things a certain way simply because that is how they have always been done.

We have always wanted TheAnnuityLeads.com to be a dependable name in the industry—a company agents and advisors can work with without worrying about being misled or taken advantage of.

That is the business we set out to build in 2010, and it remains the standard we work to uphold today.

Is Our Program a Fit?

Our program is designed for experienced agents, advisors, and organizations that value carefully generated opportunities and have a disciplined process for prompt, professional follow-up.

If that describes the way you work, we would be glad to have a conversation.
